Did you see this week’s video walkthrough?
This week’s walkthrough on YouTube shows you how to send a video link in your LinkedIn messaging center. If your company currently uses a video platform such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or BlueJeans, you can link your account with your LinkedIn messaging center so that you can easily send meeting invites to people on your team, potential prospects, or potential employees for an interview.
Follow along below or watch the video above to learn how to send a video link through the LinkedIn Messaging Center.
To begin you will open up a new message.
Enter the name of the person you would like to send the meeting invite to.
Write your message.
Click the video camera icon at the bottom.
You have the option to schedule through Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or BlueJeans. Whichever you click will prompt a log in screen and will connect directly to your account.
You then have the option to create an instant meeting or to schedule one for later.
Once you select your meeting, it will put the information and link directly into the message. Click Send.
You will see the link in the message for easy access to the meeting.
You can create the video messages with people you do or do not already have a messaging thread with.
Pull up your messages or enter their name in the recipient box.
Write your message.
Once you’ve scheduled a meeting through a provider, LinkedIn will assume you will always want to use that provider and keep you logged in. If you need to switch platforms click select a different provider.
This time I am going to schedule a meeting for tomorrow. Click schedule meeting for later.
You have the option to change the date, time and time zone.
Once you have changed everything, click Create.
Click Send. That’s it! You’re done.
